Fatherhood
Happy Papi’s Day!
Jun 20th
I wanted to take the time out to say Happy Father’s Day to all of you Dad’s that do everything you can to be the best Dad. Lord know how hard I try (although I feel like the biggest kid) to teach, enjoy and most importantly have patience for my boys. Being a father of an autistic child has made me truly appreciate even the little things that they all do. Thank you lord for giving me the gift of being a dad. You know how hard I try to be the best.

When do you draw the line between fatherhood and ambition?
Mar 4th
I love my kids and that is undeniable but at times I feel like I’m not being the best dad I can be. I’m so caught up on trying to be successful that sometimes it feels like I’m just not giving enough attention to my boys. I have a goal in mind and my thought process has to do with my children benefiting from my success. I feel that if I work hard now my kids will be able to reap the rewards tomorrow. What are your thoughts? Do you feel that your children are young once and there should be nothing to interfere with that time in their lives or would you focus on your goal with intentions that your children will thank you for all your hard work later?
Please leave a comment and share your thoughts.

Feb 24th
I know that having the kids sitting in front of the TV isn’t always healthy however it’s also true that having that TV is a blessing, as it is my flat screen babysitter. These TV shows are actually specially formulated to stimulate their minds and promote proper behavior and cognitive skills. My kids have surprised me with some of the things that they repeat from these shows. Since there is a wide selection of shows here are the top 9 shows that they simply can’t get their eyes off of: More >

A Lunar Eclipse – My 2 sons sleeping side by side
Dec 29th
I remember my best friend trying to explain to me what it’s like being a parent. I always felt that I was able to completely relate. I’m not sure how I thought that but it wasn’t until I actually had my sons brought into this world that I was finally able to grasp what he and every parent (even my mom) ever felt. One of those moment happened tonight as I was working on my computer. I decided to turn around and there they were, my 2 angels right there on my bed sleeping so peacefully. Now I’ve had my moments where they just drive me up the wall but right here is one of those moments where none of that bothers me. All I can do is smile and feel so happy. Here’s a quick little video of me capturing that moment.

My son and his new “Booty” dance
Dec 28th
Junior decided to show me of a new dance craze he created. As the pioneer that I am I wanted to capture his new fad. Once the cameras started rolling he got a bit camera-shy and cut the dance a little short.

Whenever I read articles about children and illnesses (especially infants) I get a bit disturbed. On the upside, a mother was able to detect a rare form of cancer
